Glitter is the eighth studio album by Mariah Carey and serves as the soundtrack to the 2001 film of the same name. Released in September 2001, this dazzling album blends retro-inspired disco, funk, R&B, hip-hop, and pop, capturing the vibrant sound of the early 1980s while showcasing Carey's signature vocals and songwriting. 

Featuring songs such as "Loverboy," "Never Too Far," and "Lead The Way," Glitter explores themes of love, ambition, heartbreak, and self-discovery. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the album is being reissued on vinyl for the first time since its original release, pressed on 2LP Midnight Purple colour vinyl.
