Whereas their debut material showcased \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ea restless, jerky, jagged and rhythmically \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecentred sound that bore the influence of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eenergetic post-punk, their second EP \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eshowcased an entirely different side to the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eband. This evolution saw the group stitch \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003etogether a looser constellation of ideas, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecombining swooning tremolo guitars, prickly \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003emelodic riddles, erudite saxophone improvs, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eand flexible rhythms, sounding like\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan\u003eWatery, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDomestic\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e-era Pavement one second and the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ebucolic Canterbury Scene the next, but always, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ealways like Moreish Idols most of all. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e“All In The Game” is filled with Dan Carey’s \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eeccentric production ideas, largely inspired by \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ethe concept of time. \u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"react-pdf__Page__textContent textLayer\"\u003e\n\u003cspan\u003eFor the title-track, Carey \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003easked Humphreys to play the same saxophone \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003epart at different tempos, recording onto tape \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ewhich was itself moving at different speeds.
